The Last Dance

A story I had been told but I had never really paid attention too.  The last dance, an ESPN documentary on Netflix is the story of Michael Jordan leading the Chicago Bulls to their record winning victory in the  NBA playoffs of 98.  I actually watched the last game. I was up late one night, and feeling lonely. I even wrote my friend Rob a letter, about it. I had returned from the USA, weeks or days earlier, and I had nothing to do.  I remember my friend Chris trying to explain how important Scottie Pippin was. I never paid attention to him  The devastating effect of the Triangle defense. The enigma that is Dennis Rodman. I never realised how hard Rodman and Pippins upbringing was. It is a history of the 1990s. We see Carmen Electra, and Hulk Hogan in WCW colors.  It was nice to see North Carolina again, and to see the nineties, before the net, changed the world. The long suits, the long shorts. Gatorade. God Gatorade was disgusting, The Dream team. I ...

Nana Visitor liked my tweet

They could have had Nana Visitor as the Female Admiral in #Picard Ben was right about you. Sheer Hubris.. https://t.co/rSWvjBEX9x — Malchera (@malchera) July 9, 2020 I ts not come through well. But Ms Visitor liked my tweet.  Which to me invites the question. The Admiral in Picard. Why not have Nana Visitor, as the Admiral.  It makes sense in Universe. Kira having been given a Starfleet rank in DS9. Got promoted moved sideways.  SHe dealt with Romulan refugees

Fisherman, Father, Footballer, Northumbrian, Honorary Irish citizen Manager of the Republic of Ireland World Cup Winner in 1966 1935-2020 I remember watching the European Championship games, following the Irish team via the BBC at USA 1994. The fateful riot in Dublin.

Round Up July 2020

The pubs are supposed to reopen tomorrow, but Jono's my favorite bar is not due to open. My brother tells me of whispers that the management wish to close it, but now I must find another option As I do not want to go to the Swan by myself. Well I would go, but I do not wish to sit down conspicuously alone with the social distancing rules I am tired of COVID -19, the masks. I wish this plague would pass over the lands of Man quickly. We have more bad news everyday it seems and smarter people than me, are pessimistic about the prospects for a vaccine or a cheap and quick cure Liverpool won the league, but more importantly QPR lost the West London Derby I have finished East and West by Michael Scott. Interesting but I do not find myself retaining anything I learn about Chinese History I think I may have Covid 19 again. I feel awful, stomach pains, shortness of breath, headache and the ever present sore throat. I also think my teeth are rotten Expedia has returned my broth...
