Allo Allo, The Argentina years

  So just an idea I had.  The series Allo, Allo was being discussed online yesterday. I have fond memories of this series- A comic farce meeting a historical sitcom. Set in occupied France. A Cafe Owner- Rene Artois, tries to conduct his affairs, and his affairs While dodging the Gestapo, German Army, MI5, and the Resistance. Actually Allo Allo was a better historical series than often is given credit. For example, it points to the differences between the Communist and Gaullist Resistance.  Anyway.  Rene, flees to Argentina after the war. Perhaps with some stolen German Gold.
