Heroes season two, has commenced.
I am thirty years old. I am entitled to write the letters M.A after my name. I buy books, on physics. I took university classes in philosophy.
Despite all this I found myself, saying no, honey don't, sweetie don't. When Claire Bennett cuts off her own toe
Heroes.
Hey its Sark, from Alias.(David Anders) Hooray! That was a nice touch, a Gajin, playing a legendary Japanese hero. Imagine Richard Rowntree playing Robin Hood Problem is it takes Hiro, away from the action. Now giving each of our leads, an episode to themselves may have worked.
The writers strike has not helped the series
Our attention is draw to the docks of Cork. A gang of variously accented ruffians is attempting to rob a container. After stunning the security guard with a jerry bar
One of the gang, is Dominic Keating. Formerly of the Starship Enterprise. Lately of Beowulf.
The accents are terrible. Its an Anglo-Corkonian endeavour , to rip off some I-pods. There is a Black British actor, in the gang. It would have been more accurate to have an African accent .
There is one wow moment. When we realise, that Peter Petrelli is still alive. He is discovered chained up inside the container.
So on to Claire
Claire, is trying to settle into life in California. She has been told by her father, Mr Bennett to
Dad and Daughter are trying to adjust to their new lives. Both are dealing with a loss of Status. Claire, went from head cheerleader in Texas, to just a pretty face, in California. Mr Bennett, once the head of a black opps team. Is now wearing a name badge, and a t shirt. He is having to deal with an annoying supervisor.
Claire complains about her loss her status. Her father, is able to put manners on his annoying manager, by applying pressure to his digit. Claire is forced to endure the agony of High school.
Claire stands up, for a less agile and adept, schoolmate, and is unable to perform the challenge by the head cheerleader, Jumping off the tower, Why because it will draw attention to her
The Cop, who reads mind. Adopted the orphan, who can locate anyone. He is living with the Indian Dr. The Child services of New York City. Are quite happy with this arrangement
It could have been better, the scripts needed a tightening. I still kind of like it
