Happy Time
As I am a history buff. When I was visiting Virginia. I was pleased to learn more about the role of the US Coastguard, in beating the U-Boat menace.
There was a video of the German submarine captain whose boat had been destroyed by an American bomber. After a few days at sea. The survivors had been rescued and brought to a USN hospital. The Captain and the Bomber pilot, shook hands.
I wonder if I would have been so forgiving and professional
The two men reunited in a happier and more prosperous peace time
