Rik Mayall,

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Rik Mayall. I watched Bottom, during my formative years. I  used to watch it with my brother. It was different to other British sitcoms, and probably never got the credit it deserved for the physical comedy, the clowning about, that Mayal and Edmonson used to do

Of Course, I remember him, from Blackadder, as Captain and Lords Flash..And his telling of Georges Marvelous Medicine. I understand in later life, his health had begun to fail him

I was never a fan of the Young ones though

Seemed very nice. I was briefly in Chile. I looked down the motorway to Santiago. I thought I might as well be on the moon. The next day, I had a lovely steak sandwich
