Middlesborough v QPR

I was pleased to be back in the Loft this Saturday  After a decent first half- we conceded two goals. I was disappointed that Sinclair did not play.  I note the people sitting on either side of me, were women of a certain age. They were both there by themselves. We are a long way from Stanley knives on the terraces  Speaking of Stanley's who cut through opposition

Rugby Legends. England V Ireland

A nice night. It would have been nicer, with a pound or two in my pocket.  It is Lent so I should give some money to charity I was pleased to watch rugby again. I was pleased to return to the Stoop. This time, was journey there was much cheaper. I must remember to scan in, at Richmond again.  Ireland was roundly thrashed 50-24. Who did indeed throw bottles of water, and other bits and pieces at the pitch. It was a cool night. Just bearable in a jacket  The Loft Banner looked amazing. They really had done our late great number 10 proud With the spirit of Stanley looking down on us. QPR hit the lead early  The hoops were up and at them all night. A goal mouth scrabble finally drew first blood with Smith  scoring, West Bromwich hit back and hit hard. QPR conceded two goals to WBA I think one from our old nemesis the corner spot.  This ...
