Dreams
Last night,I was in church. The Parish where I and my family attended . Matt Smith and Clara, was there. So was the Pope .I presume Pope Francis. I think I also met Pope John Paul 2nd. I confused him, with Benndict. I remembered the two Popes journal .Anyway Matt Smith and I presume Clara Where going to do a performance. They were waiting in the confessional However ,there had been a miscomunication. They needed to do it after communion. I was sitting in a pew behind some people I went to HS with. When my mobile went off. Embarrassed I left the church.Oddly my mobile, was playing the Red Dwarf Theme. Feeling guilty I helped a guy close the doors of a church Or at least tried to

SF Debris
I have been enjoying the Star Trek reviews, on SF debris.
http://www.sfdebris.com/
Its a nice piece of nostalgia. As I have seen the various Trek series repeated and repeated again.I forget how old they are. The 7 of 9 season of Voyager was in 1998. 15 years ago. A world before 911. The Bush presidency. The Euro. A world in which my wife, was barely a teen, and did not speak English.
I came across the site on a link, from www.TVtropes.com
I have been really enjoying the reviews. The commentary is caustic. I will blush from repeating some of the comments here. The reviews are erudite and considered. I would recommend the discussion of the Prime Directive. I am saving, the Dr Who and Babylon 5 reviews. Its ages, since I looked forward to TV reviews.

Hammersmith Ghost murder case
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hammersmith_Ghost_murder_case
I was researching a piece for my class tomorrow. I stumbled across this. I knew the area quite well. I used to live nearby. Indeed Queens Park Rangers football ground is not far off. Amusing to think the neighbourhood played a part in shaping British Legal history.
Interestingly if I remember correctly isn't the graveyard in Buffy called the Hammersmith Graveyard

The Peru Two
http://www.thejournal.ie/drugs-bust/news/
I am somewhat skeptical. One wonders what they filled out, in their landing card, at Jorge Chavez
Where did they stay, isn't it interesting the criminal master minds behind the case, where Columbian
Why did they not make a fuss, on the plane ride over to Lima
Peruvian jails, are hellish. However you must put this into context. A minority of the citizenry of Lima, have clean water. Many people are sleeping under tin roofs. People go to work in combi's. Which may only be an old American school bus.
The drugs trade in Peru, fuels terror, both in Peru, and in Colombia. I find it hard to have sympathy

Song for the day ``I'm just your problem''
A great song about Teen angst from a childrens TV show...
Adventure time, was worth coming to Peru for alone.
The series revolves arround two heroes. Jake the Dog, a mutant dog, who can assume any form, and Finn the last Human. Finn is a 14 year old boy, he lives in a tree house, with his best friend Jake. Together they protect the land of Ooo, which is probably the Earth. (The Earth seems to have been destroyed in the Mushroom war, a thousand years ago) Ooo is divided into several Kingdoms. There is Marceline, the Vampire Queen, who we hear singing in the clip. Princess Bubblegum, ruler of the Candy Kingdom. Oh and the Ice King, the former Simon Petrov, Finn and Jakes primary antagonist
The series is filthy. Yet aimed squarely above young heads- it also loses something in translation. However there are enough fart and bad taste jokes, to enjoy...
The Fox who loved eating babies...

I wonder if the bog was there, during the Bronze age. Bogs are living things. If I am remembering correctly in a few places, the bogs are quite a young part of the landscape.

Peter Capaldi is the new Doctor Who
The Third Scot, after McCoy, and Tennant. The 13th regeneration of the Doctor..
(The 11 plus John Hurt)
You may remember Peter from...
His OSCAR winning short about the life of Franz Kafka
The Lair of the White Worm _ A favorite of mine in my fevered years
Malcom Tucker, in The Thick of it
As well as the fires of Pompeii and Torchwood.
He also played a Doctor from W.H.O in World War Z
*********
Hopefully Mr. C, is a big enough cheese to shake the series up. We need more bite in the script. Strax, and Jenny are very good, but they have been overused. Strax is a one note character.
It also changes the dynamic of the Doctor, the Doctor is no longer a semi-Romantic lead.
