I ended up enjoying this. It is silly summer film. It is smart enough to wink at the camera. It also takes a moment that there are real stakes involved here. We are reminded that people die. The red shirts get a few lines here and then

The opening shot of the tomato throwing contest in Spain is ludicrous. Paddy Constantine for example walks through the fight barely getting hit. 

As regards the plot the U.S President- Played by John Cena-Who does a decent job and the British PM have to team up to stop an international conspiracy - interestingly someone has been reading the news There is a move to undermine NATO. A pity they did not pick a pretty Italian actress to play Meloni

Someone forgot Poland is a NATO member though.

It is interesting that it's unremarkable that Elba is playing a black British PM. 

Elba is a tall, handsome man but can go jogging unremarked and unbothered in London, if he wears an Arsenal beanie. Equally Cena is not recognised by the Slavs

Jack Quaid seems to be a younger version of Pedro Pascal. He is in everything

I like Paddy Constantine I hope he enjoyed the shoot and got paid well. This was silly fun, but well made silly fun
