Beowulf 2007

Beowulf I read this, in my first year in High school. One little anecdote about my first year out of short trousers. I had taken a book out on monsters, from the Library. I had found out that the tale, was of Danish origin. Rather then Anglo Saxon. I corrected my English teacher. Who looked it up, and I was indeed right.
I was surprised to learn, that there have been several versions of Beowulf, on the Big Screen: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beowulf_and_Grendel ( Christopher Lambert, was in a version of Beowulf, in the 1990. So Highlander, The Knight moves, Fortress, that's how he earns his money)

Anyway I was pleased with this Film. This is probably the most accurate depictions of the past, on the big screen. Yes, everyone is too rich, and too pretty. The first shot of the great hall, is too technicolor. Yet the feel is right. Its Pagan, Bloody lastly. Beowulf, goes into battle naked. Why because his Sword, is big enough. Grendel speaks Old English. When his mother asks, him. Who hurt him, He is consoled as Mien Darling The secrets we keep, the lies we tell. Beowulf, fought three monsters in the Orkneys. The Pictish fleet should have been in his way, but never mind. It became, 9 and then 20. Beowulf, becomes the king, and makes the same mistake. He is seduced by the demon. For prosperity, and the to lie with a demon, he brings something terrible into the world. Because of this, he has no son. The Old King, chose a demon, over his pretty young wife. Because of this he died without an Heir. The truth, Christianity and virtue, allows one to go on. Paganism, keeps one in the bloody cycle of things We start with a rowdy great hall. The King is brought out to address his feasting people. The king has a pretty young wife. The King is flushed, He has made his deal. Beowulf, makes his deal. It is only his shield brother, who will break the cycle. The Queens, sings a song about a beautiful woman. with red lips, and moonlit skin. As she flirts with Beowulf. Busty wenches, Hooray! There are some liberties Iceland and Vineland had not been discovered yet. The Army or rather the Host, of Beowulf, engages the Dragon with Balista The Queen, converts to Christianity. This is how it happened, in Historical times. Christianity is ``the religion of women and slaves.'' Its a bit early for the introduction of Christianity that far north The slave, Kane, is played by ST Enterprise's Dominic Keating Angelina's demoness wears High heels!
Beowulf, talks of Christianity ending the time, of heroes, and bringing, Shame. Culture of Honor to Culture of Guilt in one generation
One of the best films I have seen in a year
