Paddington in Peru

 I watched this with my nephew

It isn't really Peruvian. Oh yes they go to Cusco- they may well have filmed at MP, but it doesn't feel like the Peru I knew. You see the Presidental Palace and the Plaza de Armas -There is some tourist footage of Barranco and Combi

One scene that feels real is Paddington eating an exotic fruit- a cereboya

Cusco is no where near the Amazon

There is possibly a Fitzcarrado homage though

That said, there are times when the film gets the horror of the Amazon - the family damp and sleeping under a tree. The endless forrest, and the bugs
