Bones

I am watching Bones
. Brief thoughts. David Borenaz is playing Angel, the same character he played in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel. Without the strong supporting cast. Charisma Carpenter, James Marsters etc. 
Borenaz is looking for redemption. After having been a Marine sniper v being the vampire with a soul 

 The Lab, uses a holographic display unit, that simply doesn't exist. 
 Bones, Brennan is called in to identify, skeletal remains. 
Why can't they take DNA? Bones, is solving the case, instead, of just identifying the corpse. (The Cracker problem. It's not the job of the forensic archaeologist or the psychiatrist to solve the crime)
Oh and Bones is rebuilding the bomb too... Its strangely compelling..

 I had a small win on the horses. Slim Pickings, took the Silver medal, in the UK Grand national. I have been enjoying the sunshine. Today I wore shorts, I have not smoked in 105 days. Despite rumours to the contrary.

Malchera in High school

Will from the in-betweeners, with bad skin, look at the area arround my left eye. I have just had a bout of conjuctiveitis. That and my half smile, to conceal my cracked incisor and dirty teeth... I don't know why I actually possess this picture. School Photographs, now there is racket. They take you out of class, and take your picture, and charge you for the picture. Anyway, my mother never paid for the school photographer. She had 4 children in the same school,  and paying for 4 photographs, would not have been cheap. I do remember the day though. Before me, the busty Kelly Panei, had gone first. The photographer had made a crack about beauty and the beast, so I knocked over his stand on the way out... But for years after, this was my mental image of myself...
