Lammas

I was awoken by a call from my computer repairers. I was annoyed by this as I had asked them to e-mail me, and they had not. They called me instead why do people do this?
Anyway, I set off for them, with my computer in tow. They told me they would repair my computer in half an hour or so. In the old days I would have gone to the Spinning wheel for a pint. However I am teetotal until march, so I refrained.

I went and did some shopping. Purchasing lightbulbs that didn't fit. I got my hair cut. However I still had time. So I went to see Lamas park.

I used to hang round Lamas park in my early teens. I had no where else to go. Too young for pubs. It was a bit of a way from home, so away from prying eyes. Oh and there were tennis courts there. So I used to go and look at the girls playing tennis. Which I am sure put tens, of young players off. I didn't have the sense or guts to go and talk to one of the girls.

I also used to buy and read. Oh and just read, pornographic magazines there. I did wonder if there are a few 1990's copies of Mayfair or New Talent. A magazine which promised only the youngest and freshest models, lying about in the bushes.

I was once head butted there. By the leader of a gang of Youths. They missed. They hit my head rather than my nose.

I also saw, a girl I went to primary school with. Who I now realise, was a long away from class too.

Anyway this is the background to my youth. Oh and I was also stopped by a police man,  once leaving the place with a copy of Men Only in my breast pocket. He believing I was up to no good demanded to see what was in my jacket. I almost fainted. He laughed and sent me home.
