Anyway, our film begins in Poland 1944. A boy being separated from his parents, in a death camp
Yes that's why we have the retcon. The Nazi's are now just too far in the past. For someone watching this in 2015, the last conscription class at the battle of Berlin, will be in there 90th Birthday. The Nazis are dead. So, we are now referencing History that we know through movies. So Erik, does Munich, with the Nazi gold, and the swiss banks. The Odessa files in reverse. Tracking down Nazis.
Anyway Erik, uses his powers to free his parents. He comes into contact with a Man named Shaw. Kevin Bacon. Superbly reptilian. In trying to get Erik to demonstrate his powers he kills Erik's Mother. There is a cool scene where Erik kills,
Oh and subtitled. A lot of this film is subtitled. There are scenes across the world. Argentina. The General government of Poland. Oxford. New York State. A Dacha in the USSR, and the Kremlin. That said, obvious pictures of Red Square and Moscow landmarks, get subtitled Moscow-Russia

The Nazi's hiding out in Austria drink Bittburger. One is a tailor from Dusseldorf. So was Erik's father. Nice bit of writing that. Dusseldorf, is the German fashion centre. I get killing the two Nazis. But killing the bar tender. Who saw, some guy come in and kill two of his patrons?
Charles Xavier, moves to Oxford, and pics up a British accent. He tries to pick up women, by recognizing there mutations. Later he drinks a Yard of ale. There is a yard of ale, in the pub I drink in.
Anyway, once Charles recognizes the threat from Shaw, he founds a team to stop them
The actor playing Banshee has no Irish accent However when he is rejected, by a girl at the aquarium, he kills a lot of fish. Taking out your frustration, on dumb animals. What is more Irish than that!
Well Shaw, is planning to start a nuclear war, to destroy Mankind, to leave the Mutants as rulers of the world. There is a scene, when we see the Capitol building destroyed by atomic fire, and Shaw, and January Jones, standing over a cheering crowd
The KGB are strangely absent, from the events in the soviet union. The soldiers at the dacha, are all army. Red stripes on the uniform
The USSR needs Shaw, to put the idea of putting missiles into Cuba? Really? On the other hand, I am aware, that the USSR thought that Cuba was not forested enough to hide missiles.
Nicolas Holt, has grown. Or is McAvoy short? Anyway he plays the beast. Henry McCoy. I wonder did, he consult with Kelsey Grammer for this role. He is outed by McAvoy's Xavier.
Michael Ironside plays the Captain of a US navy ship. It's quite 1990s!
If the Russians can create a helmet which protects the wearing from telepathy. Than why cannot the CIA. Why don't the Russians leak it to the CIA. If Mutants are such a danger. Than better to have human running than
At some point Michael Fassbender, starts speaking with an Irish accent, rather than various foreign and RP. Just after they solve the Cuban Missile crisis
