Allo Allo, The Argentina years

 

So just an idea I had. 

The series Allo, Allo was being discussed online yesterday. I have fond memories of this series- A comic farce meeting a historical sitcom. Set in occupied France. A Cafe Owner- Rene Artois, tries to conduct his affairs, and his affairs While dodging the Gestapo, German Army, MI5, and the Resistance.

Actually Allo Allo was a better historical series than often is given credit. For example, it points to the differences between the Communist and Gaullist Resistance. 

Anyway. 

Rene, flees to Argentina after the war. Perhaps with some stolen German Gold. He would not have been the only French man going that way. Rene lives a life of wine, women, and song. Before losing everything but a cafe. So Rene is working behind the bar, again.  He has run off from his wife Edith

The Germans- Have fled to South America. But they have stolen the identity of a more senior and vicious Nazi. They are trying to scrape a living in South America. They have some Nazi Gold, but Peron, wants them to fight reds. They are also on the run from Mossad- Who thinks they are pure Evil. In time -Mossad send a Larry David type after them

Che shows up as an annoying Teen

So the Germans one day run into Rene, and are trying to get his help. He does not want their help. But they do have money... 

Captain Bertnaelli has got a job as a police officer in B.A 

Edith is working for Evita. She is somebody in Argentina and one day she walks into Rene's cafe

Mi6 Agents, etc show up

Oh and a Young Marty Crane being shipped back from Korea. The Army and the Navy working together...
