Round up

Tomorrow is my mother's birthday and my brothers birthday. Yesterday I  watched Enchanto- which I quite liked. It is another bright and beautiful Pixar Disney offering I did like the South American setting - My niece was fascinated by the Capybaras  I note that like Frozen , encanto is a discussion of sisterhood. Rather than a romance. The tensions between a prettier and plainer sister. I liked the fact that Encanto talked about what is it like to be in the shadows Encanto is also a matriarchy - The Grandmother runs the house. I note it is also in English and Spanish Do Colombians wear panchos? I also watched Free Guy I have been sleeping on a couch for three months now. As I have builders in. My room has been plastered and refloored.  QPR have sacked Neil Critchley

Richard Belzar

The Wire, Law and Order SUV, Homocide life on the Street, The X files Detective Much passes

Raquel Welch

1940-2023 Mother- Actress- Anglo Bolivian  USO performer in Vietnam. As if I did not like enough Star of some of my favourite films- The Three Musketeers, and A Million years BC

Everything, Everywhere all at once

You cannot fault the ambition of this film. I remember seeing some Katen complaining about how there were no  middle aged women who were  superheroes - they rock the PTA  Well some crazy fool did that with the multiverse It is damn well different - To Spiderman no way home or Dr Strange the Multiverse of Madness  Its done in Singlish, subtitles - We see a world of uncomfortable middle age. The plot involves an IRS audit, and a fading or failing marriage. A lesbian daughter, who is showing off her new tattoo and lover  On top of all that, a visiting father It could be me or my wife The lead is Michelle Yeah who is nearly old enough for her Bus pass. I do like her I last saw her in Star Trek Discovery  It features Checkov's butt plug I note Jamie Lee Curtis - Deirdre is a soft rrrr We really see a world where the" last thing they are expecting is for us to turn into tap dancing mongooses " As well as, universes with no Life at all Even the multiverse and reality itself are

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent

I did like this. Is the beginning of the 90s revival? I had forgotten about Guarding Tess, I have never seen it - I remember it from clips of Movies Games and Videos late at night on ITV This is great knockabout stuff- Cage is trying to get back into the brightest of limelights. He has to do a private party for Pedro Pascal - In a Croatia starrung as a Spain Pascal is great. Funnily enough I can understand Pascal but not his Spanish co star  Pascal has a film for Cage ..    I love the drugged and drunken stunts. I note the CGI cage is in fact from an episode of Wogan. Just past me on the 207 I have missed Nicolas Cage- I loved his work- Cin Air, The Rock, Leaving Las Vegas - I tried to pull of the leaving las Vegas look in my first year in University  Demi Moore is another blast from the past - She gets a cameo role  Sharon Horan has done alright for herself-
