The New Frasier

 From scrambled eggs to Parson's egg

1- It is nice to see Fraiser again.

2- Frasier ( Kelsey Grammer ) and Alan ( Nicolas Wyndhurst) have a great and natural chemistry. 

3- It is nice they make no bones that Frasier is very very rich

Yes Alan is playing something of a stage Brit. Even Alan's dress looks old-fashioned -Long brown tweeds. Why would Cambridge who is supposed to be something of a womanizer - a rake not be in Armani or such 

It is obvious they have tried to recycle Niles in Frasier's Nephew -David  Crane   Though David Crane does seem to be there for comic relief and comic relief only. With Niles, we saw someone get a second chance. Now they can play this tune again but they don't seem to be interested in setting up the instrument 

 Olivia as the new Phoebe is fine. She is a BAP in academia  With Olivia is not that she is bad. Okay, She is supposed to be the supervisor of Fraiser- Frasier is essentially a tenured or adjunct professor. So how often would she and Frasier cross paths?  It seems her arc will swiftly end. Frasier will come and teach in Havard and then what role does Olivia play each week. Logically Frasier should have a secretary or such- but Olivia has been created as a superior to Frasier not an inferior. I think this may be a mistake- Firstly Phoebe was often an antagonist to Frasier. Whether getting him to endorse or a product or actually seducing him  We only saw Phoebe on occasion  Phoebe who if you are unaware played Frasier's agent came and went- I get she is supposed to be similar to Roz- In chivvying Frasier in managing him. Roz and Martin are often the voice of reason- the earth that grounds the Cranes when they are up on the live wires.

There are a lot of people- often on screen at once. In the first episode, we see the entire cast in one or two rooms. We have just met most of these people or not seen them in a few years. Give us a chance to meet them properly. Please give us a sherry while we are being introduced.

There seems to have been a subplot where it is hinted that Freddy is Gay and it was rewritten and thus removed but the setup is there

Freddy Crane does not seem to be imposing enough to be a fireman, Particularly a senior fireman 

Yes, we miss Martin terribly. Yes, his passing was well remembered. It was a nice touch. 

It would have been braver to have Freddy not qualify for Havard and become a firefighter- Have the tension be that Freddy is not book smart enough to recognize survivor's guilt. They did this with Martin why not add that tension there 

Or have we all been analysed to much
