If you ask for tea, they give you chocolate biscuits. Rather a packet of cheese snacks on the British Airways flight

I had printed out maps to the wrong hotel. I only noticed this on the train
My hotel is Russian run, and caters for visitors from there
There is a deserted hooters here. How did I miss it in 2009?

Germans are very helpful. They will switch to English quickly. Lady in coffee shop, lady in the post shop, lady in the 1 euro shop

We wnt up the Rhinetower, it is was a very warm day. I had a cherry ice cream, on top of the rhine tower
We saw a kite from the rhine tower
Someone on the left bank of the rhine, made a smiley face, in the sand. Which could be see from the Rhine tower
We went on a boat
We had cokes,they gave us free drinks and they kept playing the theme to Titanic
Lots of Japanese in Dusseldorf 2 Japanese kindergartens, and a school. This is from the boat commentary
Saw a woman in a high viv bib working on a rhine barge full of sand. ( the barge was full of sand)
Than to the Film Museum
Film Museum is cheap, 3 euro's it has a lot of props, and old cameras. Lots of Japanese costumes. There were shadow puppets
Do kids, still try and make hand shadows?
There were what the butler saw machines.
Joan of Arc, in German is Johanna von Orleans
Saw the end of silence of the lambs, and a Goodfellas poster in German.
Not much stuff, about German film between 1933-45
Woman in the supermarket, name tag refers to her as Frau....Rather than her first name

I had dutch fries for lunch,
Someone feeds the birds. They are a health hazard

We went into a bank, as my brother was so startled by the building, that he wanted to look inside. It was just a normal bank
