Donnie Brasco

I found this one a bit of chore to get through I liked it, but I think having seen the Soprano's and such before I saw this meant that Donnie Brasco was perhaps not as fresh as it was. So something that would have been shocking in the 1990s. The fact that Lefty- Pacino has a pet lion. Is something I now know via Tiger King, is actually common in the USA. Or at least does't suprise me. Equally the FBI having prominent LDS members as well as being an organisation with feet of clay is not suprise I actually found Al Pacino somewhat annoying in this, he keeps asking follow up questions What do you know? The cast is very 1990s Ann Heche, Michael Madsen, Bruno Kirby I want to make a brief comment about Bruno Kirby. Whom seeing in this film, I remembered from his fine work in City Slickers, and Good Morning Vietnam. I had not realised he died in 2006. I want to state my sadness at this Everyone gives a good performance. It's fine. I think I would like to have learned more about Brasco's early life.
